The Intercultural Society of Vernonia is a voluntary organization whose mission is to promote cultural growth for the community by organizing and facilitating festivals, events and projects for the local community.
Our Vision: We are the heartbeat of Vernonia area, and act as a catalyst in facilitating a deeper understanding of cultural diversity through hosting or partnering with local community festivals and events.
We value people and understand the importance of our community and
volunteers. Accordingly, ICSV pledges to:
- Put community first and to seek their needs above all others;
- Foster partnerships to improve the economic well-being and quality of
life in the community through tourism; - Treat volunteers, the public, and visitors to our Vernonia community with dignity and respect.
ICSV is dedicated to following our Mission to fulfill our Vision. We will strive to:
- Promote community involvement in local events and projects
- Partner with community organizations for the cultural vibrancy of the Upper Nehalem Valley.
