Meet the team of volunteers at the Intercultural Society of Vernonia. We are dreamers, visionaries, and individuals who love our small town!!! Every cultural event and festival we organize is essentially to bring the community together, to share in the collaborative spirit of the town, and to bring life to our streets! None of this would be possible without these hard-working individuals on our board!
IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW IS INTERESTED IN JOINING THE BOARD TO FILL A VACANT POSITION, FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US, OR COME TO ONE OF OUR GENERAL MEETINGS FOR MORE INFORMATION!

Shawn moved to Vernonia in 2002, and immediately knew she would love it here! Being a realtor, she takes a lot of pride in working where she lives, and she loves that she has been able to form lasting friendships through the groups she has been a part of, friends she never would have otherwise met. “The Society encompasses so much for our town; it provides an excellent chance to be a part of something, and the chance to see the joy on the faces of friends and families that attend our events”. Shawn’s passion and commitment is what makes her such a special member of the Intercultural Society, and we wouldn’t be the same without her!
